My Pieces of Writing

Over the period of my high school terms, I often enjoy writing on various topics, book reviews and more, some of which have been published below.

One Indian Girl by Chetan Bhagat

Book Review

Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl introduces Radhika Mehta, a successful investment banker grappling with societal expectations and personal desires. The novel attempts to delve into the challenges faced by modern Indian women, highlighting issues like gender bias and the pursuit of self-worth. While Radhika's journey is relatable, the narrative often simplifies complex feminist themes, leading to a portrayal that feels surface-level. Despite its shortcomings, the book sparks essential conversations about women's autonomy in contemporary India.

Think Again by Adam Grant

Book Review

"Think Again" by Adam Grant is a book that tells you it's okay to change your mind. It talks about how being open to new ideas and willing to admit when you're wrong can make you smarter and more successful. Grant uses stories and research to show why it's important to be humble and flexible in your thinking. He says that being stubborn and sticking to your beliefs even when they're wrong can hold you back. The book is easy to understand and makes you think about how you approach decisions and opinions. It's like having a friendly chat with someone who wants to help you see things from a different perspective. So, if you want to learn how to think better and make better choices, "Think Again" is a great book to read.
